RAMADHAN

Today I want to share a story about the fasting month. All Muslims around the world are fasting for the timeliness 30 days that fall on August this year. No matter where they come from, young and old, all Muslims do fast. In many cases it looks heavy not to eat, not to drink, not allowed to release anger from dawn till sunset.

When I was a child, I always counted the time clock how long it would take to the maghrib time or sunset that was time for me to break my fast. I always killed the time by playing with my rabbit or play in the kitchen disturbing my mother when she was preparing some meals for break fasting or just quarrel with my brothers and sisters at home. I just hold only for my hunger and thirst, not included hold my anger. That time even I knew that Muslims who fast should hold their anger but I ignored it. Actually, It is really not accepted according to holy Qur'an and Sunnah Rasulullah Muhammad S.A.W. As the time goes by, I have become a parent and I realize that I should also consider to hold anger and must be discipline in doing 5 times prayer ( fardu sholat ). For you who are not Muslim must be thinking Wow ! what a heavy duty is that.

Yeah, it is a burden indeed. However, when you think behind all that assignments, we realize that those duties keep a certain direction...what is it ? to become a Noble Human. Imagine that by fasting we can feel the hunger of the poor, the thirst of the people who cannot access to clean water. We can also feel the anger of the parents who are facing their uncontrolled children. And we become the tolerance people who understand other people's needs and pains. We became emphatic to people who are not lucky enough in this world

Human is human who are not free from faults and weaknesses, but we must keep trying to be the best human during our life in the world, shouldn't we?. As for Muslims, we will asked for the consequences in the hereafter for what we did in the world. So life in the world is an adventure to become a Noble Human, otherwise we will put in hell in the hereafter.
